Tests at CTR (RANDON) Proving Ground, an independent vehicle test facility in Caxias do Sul-Brazil, validated the additive’s impact on fuel economy. Vehicles running on E100 with Milex® SR 8230 demonstrated a notable increase in fuel efficiency.
Field Trial Overview
The trial, conducted with Volkswagen Virtus 200 TSI, aimed to assess the additive’s impact on fuel economy. Over 500 km/day, the vehicles showed a consistent improvement in fuel efficiency with Milex® SR 8230 compared to base E100.
Real-World Implications
The test results are significant, demonstrating an average fuel economy improvement of 6.2%, indicating the additive’s potential to make E100 a more viable and efficient fuel alternative for everyday use.
